I’m Chris.
Interior and exterior painting in Amherst, done by someone who lives here.
I live in the same neighborhoods I work in. If you hire me, you deal with me from the estimate through the final walkthrough — not a dispatcher, not a call center.
I paint houses on weekends and weekday evenings, around my day job. That arrangement suits this work better than it sounds like it should. Painting is patience — scraping, sanding, caulking, priming, and giving coats the time they need. It isn’t a job that rewards rushing, and I’m not built to rush it.
I’d rather do six houses properly than sixty badly. That means I’ll sometimes talk you out of work. If your exterior paint is sound, I’ll tell you to wait a few years. If your cabinets are failing rather than tired, I’ll tell you paint is the wrong answer. You’re my neighbor first and a customer second, and I have to live with how I treated you either way.
I’m not going to pretend to a portfolio I don’t have yet. What I can give you is references from the jobs I’ve done, a written price that doesn’t move, and a walkthrough before you pay. Ask me anything on the list — insurance, references, what happens if you hate the color once it’s up.
